Wills - Because making a will is personal, we do not offer a form filling service, but  offer  a free first interview. If you complete the contact us form to the right, or telephone us during office hours we will arrange an appointment.

Powers of Attorney - At the same time as making a will, we advise you to consider making a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA).  LPA's  appoint someone chosen by you to look after your affairs if you become physically or mentally unable to do so yourself, or if for any other reason, you wish them to deal with things on your behalf. With a registered LPA if things do go wrong, you know who will be handling your affairs.

You can make a health and welfare LPA, which relates to your future care, as well as a financial LPA, which appoints someone you trust to look after your property and finances.

In cases where there may be no close relative or suitable person to look after your affairs, Christine Pick can act as your attorney.  We will explain to you what would be involved and the likely cost to you.

Advice for Elderly People and Future Planning - you may have concerns about future care, and the cost.  We can explain whether you can take steps to preserve your assets and planning for future care.

Probate and Administration of Estates - Following bereavement some people prefer to hand over all aspects of dealing with an estate to their solicitor, others wish to retain a personal involvement. We can relieve you of as much responsibility as possible, all the time keeping you informed, and dealing with everything on your behalf. Alternatively, perhaps in the case of a smaller estate, we can point you in the right direction and work together with you in connection with the administration if that is your preferred choice.
